This past Saturday the team traveled to Montgomery HS in North Jersey to play against 42 East Coast Teams in the “Monty Madness” robotics competition.
The team got stronger as the day went on and played well in all three phases of the game. We also scored a mini-bot in almost every match. We were eventually selected 3rd in the playoff draft and swept the playoffs in 6 straight games.
In the finals Miss Daisy, along with her partners, Team 2016 and Team 3142, posted scores of 127 – 24 and 118 – 40, defeating a tough alliance led by Team 103, Palisades HS.
Even if you did not go on this trip, it is your hard work that made this victory happen. Congratulations to the entire team.
