Every season has its struggles, and this year was certainly no exception. From cutting extruded, to doing and redoing electrical boards, to repeatedly breaking our robot in testing, to shattering windows with a sawblade, we definitely came away from this build season with some great experiences and stories. To start this year we had the most successful brainstorming that we have ever had and within the first week we started designing bits of the robot in CAD. We, however, still had to work right up until the buzzer to produce the beast of a machine that we are bringing to Florida. Our Animation team also just barely got in under the bar. Despite this rush, they created an amazing product. Also a shout out to the media team, who has been working tirelessly and have produced a multitude of high quality videos including the weekly vlogs, sponsor appreciation videos, etc. With spirits soaring, we are finishing up jobs around the shop this week and are so pumped to begin our competition season. I am looking forward to the good times and experiences to come. Also, just a side note. Our team hacky sack competition is the closest it has ever been this year. First and fourth place are with five points of each other.
