If you’re reading this, consider yourself lucky! I’ve had a lot of problems trying to connect to the Internet through Best Western! But alas, I am here. Last night’s trip took an inordinate of time it seems to get to our hotel but we made it and then ate to our heart’s content at various eateries at a nearby shopping complex. In the process of positioning the bus to unload, we accidentally ran into the hotel! Whoops!
Today’s practice rounds were a little rough. The first three we had problems with our shooting accuracy and our balls even got jammed for a bit. Luckily, by our last practice round, we were successful in shooting with the help of the camera and made a lot of balls into the 3-pt. goal!
Team morale is good and we have a lot of people getting involved with scouting especially. Unfortunately, some of the team had to stay back until 8 pm to finalize the robot and get it inspected so that we can play tomorrow! We passed inspection though and all seems to be well.
The competition here is more fierce than what I saw at the RIT regional but I think that we will be a good contender. Watch out for Teams 237 and 103 especially because they were looking good today!
Tonight we went to a team social/banquet at the Radisson hotel next door and the team had a great time dancing and eating from a delicious buffet. Thanks to Team 303 for hosting it and inviting us over!
